Radio Advert Script

Calm and soothing music will be played as I don’t want my video to
look like it’s going to be emotional.

There will be no narration for the first 5 seconds as I don’t want a
radio advert to go straight into some speech but want to create an atmosphere
than start speaking about the food bank.

5 -20secs
|
There will be low music at the back going through the whole video. It
will be a very faint volume level so people can hear the person’s speech.
|
This radio advert is about a food bank. Food banks are places which
has food which is given to people which are in need for food due to family
issues, personal issues, or lack of money. They are only allowed to have
non-perishable items. This is because if they have frozen food of anything
already they don’t know what is in them. Also due to the fact of canned food
lasting longer.

The people who use food banks need it. People think they don’t need
it but they actually do. They are suffering with family members not being
able to eat. Some people who use food banks have little children which are
suffering as well. Parents have to starve to feed their children. So let’s
help them. Let’s all become a big group and help food banks and the people
who are suffering.

Find your nearest food bank. Donate anything you can it will help
someone that is in need and make them smile and feel loved. Show how much you
care and how loving you are. Let’s all help people suffering and put this to
an end.

closest food bank.

Target Audience
Describe who you imagine your target audience to be. Age?
I imagine my target audience to be at the age of 16-28. This
is because of people at the age of 16 start thinking about the future and
informing them about how people in the UK are suffering to get food and that
they shouldn’t take things for granted.
Aim
What do you want them to do?
I want them to be informed about how helpful it would be to
just save food which they make as people which need food are unable to get
food. Even to go donate food to a local food bank maybe once a month would help
so much.
Ideas
Explain three different approaches and pick the best for
your script
One emotional showcase of speech.
Two would be a more descriptive but calm voice.
Three would be a deeper voice with emotion.
Equipment which will be needed
Microphone - only if the sound isn’t able to be heard
Recorder – to be used in the middle of the room so both
people voices can be heard.
SD card - which will put the audio into it straight away and
then transferred to the computer.
Card reader - will be needed as the SD card can’t go
straight into the computer.
Sound Booth – has to be booked out from media office by TJ,
most likely will be booked next week Wednesday.
